The Augusta County School Social Workers and School Counselors collaborated to create a resource site called, News You Can Use, for caregivers, educators and students during the pandemic. We have added material just in time for the final push before SOLs and summer break.Please take a look at our updated content here.
The site includes the following:
-A Virtual Wellness Retreat with different brain breaks and well-being activities for everyone.
-Caregiver Resources focusing on Mental Health 101, Trauma & Resilience
-Fact Sheets covering ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Response for Abuse/Neglect, Warning Signs and Resources For Suicidal Thoughts
-Videos including mental health, technology and helpful community resources
-ACPS Educator Resources (only accessed using ACPS email)
